Hi l good way to mix a close Perylene Green is to use sap green and ultramarine blue or indigo depending on the depth you would like

Hi my main reason for student grade paints are because they have less pigment which allow them to blend and mix more freely, l do use a few artist quality ones too. I would give the Artist ones as you say more water and test them out on spare paper to get used to the strength you need
