It appears that with dagger brushes handedness could be a factor in getting the right strokes. So I am wondering: should I reverse the painting so strokes follow my hand. Or try to adapt to the “right handed” painting style?

Hi Diana, thanks for a great question, I would say just practice your natural strokes with the brush to start with and be quite tough with the movement…not light and delicate and use the reverse side to not just the wide angle of the brush.
    Hope this helps
    Take care

    Hi, Diana!

I’m a lefty, too, so I know how you feel! I use the dagger brush with my left hand, and just flip it over so the point is where I need it. Does that make sense?
