I tried the sketchbook challenge. While I teas fun, mine turned out pretty bad on the scale of bad to really bad. How can I improve? Mine is the one signed RCE at the bottom right.

The way to improve are repeat the subject 5 times not just once, when a bit of your painting get out of control as yourself why the answer will be in the tutorial and be kind to yourself positive rather than negative will help

I probably need to be. Alittle more kind to myself with the watercolors. Acrylics came so easily to me. However, I am trying a lot of different teachers out and have been trying to do a painting or more every day this month. I can already see huge improvement! So it is possible. I have been attempting yours between 1-3 times each. The last one I did was the valentines one and both of my tries turned out great! So happy! I have also been enjoying a more controlled style with Paint with David and a negative paint style with Rick Surowicz. I tried Angela Fehr, but not clicking for some reason. I like learning three different styles and I feel each style helps me with the other style. Anyway, thank you for all you do and for making your videos easy to follow and enjoyable!

Your doing a great job and repeating the project several times will help you learn the process…keep up the great work!
