    Hi Mr Geeson,

I completed the Apple tutorial and I have a question. At the end you took paper towel and you blotted up the excess paint. I am assuming that is because you did not want to have any blooms appear on the Apple. However, when I did that with mine it took away most of that vibrant color and it almost is like it either is allowing you to see the paper through the paint but it kinda looks very chalky.

I used 140lb cotton rag paper from an etchr lab sketchbook and I was using Schmincke artist quality paints that I already had. I’m just wondering if there are any tricks to what seems to be such a simple thing.

This was a very delightful exercise especially for a type A person like me.

Thank you in advance for your time.

    Tiffany
