A or S after the color names

I am curious what the A or S after the color stands for.

A stands for Artist quality/grade and S for Student quality/grade He uses Winsor and Newton Cotman and Professional. Some colors aren’t available in Cotman or student grade so he uses Professional instead. Cotmans only have 40 colors whereas professional W&N has more than 100 colors
