When you have the good fortune to visit a country, a city, a place
we can bring back our memories in many ways be it photos, writings
or a painting. I feel when you create in the place it means so much more
and the image becomes the key to those memories.
I recently visited for the first time Poland and to the stunning city of Krakow,
what a breathtaking place! I set up in the main square and felt
the warmth of the summer sun, I remember the birds landing
and drinking from the nearby fountain, I remember the old guys sitting next to
me chatting, I remember the carriages and the sounds of the horses hove’s
clipping the cobbled stones…all because of being in the place and being in the
moment through art. Do try it where ever you may roam …always
