What is “not” cold press as to cold pressed?
-
Not is hot pressed paper if I remember correctly
-
‘not’ simply stands for ‘not hot’. It just means that the paper was cold-pressed (textured) rather than hot-pressed (ie Hot Pressed papers are a result of running the paper through a hot press to ‘iron out’ the texture and leave a very smooth surface). This strange term in only used the the UK, whilst in the rest of the world ‘Not’ paper is simply called ‘Coldpressed’.
